How to Fix io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException Minecraft Error?

Minecraft was released in November 2011 by Mojang Studios, and it soon became a hit. One hundred eleven million players play the game each month, making it the most popular online game ever. You can use it on various platforms, including Mac OS X, Windows, iOS, and Android mobile devices. The following error has been reported by many players: io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException. How to Fix io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException Minecraft Error?

An IP connectivity issue is the primary reason for this error, but there are also several secondary issues to consider.

Method 1: Reset the Internet Router

  1. Using the instructions in the following image, download the free trial version of Revo Uninstaller or purchase a license directly from the company’s website.
  2. To remove VPN Client, open Revo Uninstaller and choose the VPN Client icon.
  3. Select the VPN Client from the menu bar’s highest area and click Uninstall.

  5. Then click on Continue in the confirmation window after selecting the Create a System Restore Point checkbox.
  6. Click Scan to see which VPN files are still in your registry.
  7. Next, click Delete to remove all of the selected items.

  9. Once all VPN files have been deleted, repeat Step 5.
  10. If the Revo uninstaller has not found any leftovers, a message like the one shown below should appear.
  11. Restart the computer after deleting the VPN client and any associated files.

Method 4: Ensure the Correct IP Address and Port

If you use an active Internet service, your IP address changes every few days. The Launcher’s IP address and port must be accurate for this to work. This can be done by following the methods outlined below:

  1. Enter cmd in the Windows search box. To execute Command Prompt as administrator, select Run as administrator from the context menu.
  2. After typing ipconfig, press Enter.
  3. Make a note of the IPV4 address that shows on the monitor.
  4. You can find the Maxwell (random number) folder in the Minecraft Servers.
  5. Now is the time to visit MinecraftServer.

Method 5: Update Java Software

Method 8: Disable Windows Firewall Temporarily (Not Recommended)

  1. Take a look at the Control Panel, as you did before.

Method 9: Check Port Filtering Feature

There are several approaches to settle this conflict:

  1. You must turn off the port filtering option, so make sure it is.
  2. Verify that the relevant ports are being filtered if port filtering is enabled.

Method 10: Check ISP Network Access

It’s also a good idea to check on the efficiency of your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
