Boulder, Colo. (AP) — The Bonnicks and Oregon offense found creative ways to score, including an offensive linebacker catching a touchdown pass and a linebacker for a short run, ranking Saturday The Eighth Ducks beat Colorado 49-10.
With the wind howling—39 mph gusts—the Ducks (8-1, 6-0 Pac-12, No. 8 CFP) eased off their season opener in a 49-3 loss to No. 1 Georgia State 8th straight victory.

According to research provided by Oregon, the Ducks are the first FBS team since at least 1996 to have an O-lineman catch TD, QB catch score and defensive player rush TD in the same game.

With his TD receptions, the Knicks joined the company of Marcus Mariota (2012 & ’14) and Joey Harrington (’00) as Oregon quarterbacks, who have been in the company since ’96 The receiving end of the score.
Irving finished with 120 rushing yards and, thanks to his passing, had a staggering 581.2 passing rating.
Oregon defensive back Christian Gonzalez Tormented his former team with two interceptions. Gonzalez won the Pac-12 All-League Honor Award for the Buffaloes last season before the move.
The only thing that didn’t go well for Oregon was the Knicks passing back on their fourth pass near the end zone, looking like a hook shot. Still, even that worked, as Gonzalez intercepted JT Shrout’s pass two games later. It built a short Nix run, making it 35-10.
The Buffaloes had a terrible moment in the fourth quarter (1-8, 1-5) when talented freshman receiver Jordyn Tyson went down with an undisclosed injury. He was assisted off the field, dragging his left leg. Tyson had five catches for 137 yards, including 81 for scoring.
It was a gusty day at Folsom Field, with wrapping paper and leaves constantly blowing all over the floor. At one point, cheerleaders’ pom-poms were blown onto the field and the players tracked them down.
Impact of opinion polls
Another impressive performance. Oregon State is 8-1 for the third time in four seasons.
Oregon: The Ducks have scored 40 or more in eight straight games for the first time since 2014.
Colorado: Since joining the Pac-12 in 2011, the Buffaloes’ overall record against the AP’s top 25 teams has dropped to 4-34. Interim coach Mike Sanford fell to 1-3 after replacing Carl Dorrell.
Oregon: Host Washington on Saturday.
Colorado: Friday in Southern California.
