Two arrested for stealing electronic gadgets in Pune

On Tuesday, Bharati Vidyapeeth police arrested two young men for stealing gadgets from different showrooms in the city.

The accused have been identified as Yelawada residents Ronak Thorat and Tinu Vilas Kolamkar, officials said.

Police are investigating a burglary-related case filed under IPC 379 on October 29 against the defendant.Police seize value rupee31,000 from their property.

The accused was arrested by a team led by Deputy Police Inspector Dhiraj Gupta following a report.

Srihari Bahirat, chief of Bharati Vidyapeeth police station, said: “The accused stole gadgets from the showroom and may have other accomplices. Further investigations are ongoing.”
